30 Hours Free Childcare
What is 30 hours Free Childcare?
This is a new entitlement for working parents of three and four year old children which will be introduced in September 2017. This is an additional 15 hours per week entitlement in addition to the child’s existing 15 hour free early education place.
This whole new entitlement of 30 hours free childcare can be offered term time only (over 38 weeks) or can be stretched across the whole year to meet parental needs.

Construction Corner
The most important thing about playing with building toys is that, while your child is learning hugely important things while they’re playing, they are totally oblivious to the fact that they’re learning because they’re having so much fun! And this also means your child will want to play again and again. Construction play can also be a real boost to a child’s confidence, as they discover that they can have ideas, and with a bit of trial and error, make them a reality.

Garden Area
Playing outdoors is a form of exercise that promotes well-being and wholesome physical development. Children are naturally drawn to active play outdoors: it allows them to explore their environment, develop muscle strength and coordination, and gain self-confidence. Playing actively outdoors also increases flexibility, fine and gross motor skills and is related to the development of a wide variety of physical skills, including those involved in sports.

Art Corner
Children who paint learn to think with an open mind, to look at situations creatively. They learn to express themselves more deeply through their art and their words
-
Role Play Corner
When children do role plays, they naturally become someone or something else.
Role play stimulates their imagination and “enhanc(es) their social development, encourag(es) friendship through cooperation, listening and turn taking”. Therefore, role play is a really vital activity for our children. -
Book Corner
